Much has happened in the past few months.
Noel and I were chomping at the bit in Oregon in January and we couldn't wait to get back to Japan and get back to work. Coming home every 3 months is to often for me but Noel will continue to come home and share some exploits and the fruit from the promise land.
Since coming back January 30th we have been actively helping Neylor with organizing his shop and getting his stock uploaded on amazon.
We have been meeting new people in Tokyo at least once or twice a week so eventually, it would be great to have our own place there.
Everyone has the virus on their minds and tongues here in Japan. They are a mask-wearing society but now they are more fearful and some companies are telling their employees if they don't have a mask don't come into work. The stores are sold out and shelves are empty. We asked around and what little shows up is gone instantly and the line is around the corner to get some.
Thank God for the Gospel.
Our import-export business is starting to take off as well. A mutual friend recommended someone who is trying to buy masks for china. And as we started buying masks from Brazil with Neylor's connections and sending it to a guy named Tong we were a bit frustrated when payment was being withheld and we were asked to finance his business and wait till masks were sold before we received payment.
We did not like that and said we will not be doing small orders and without payment in advance, we would not ship.
I suggested that we should be selling these things ourselves since we already have an Amazon account and Japan is desperate for masks as well not just China.
Neylor got excited since that idea never struck him to do this. So we got on the phone and called everyone producing masks in Brazil and we bought thousands of Masks and we will be receiving them shortly and the margin will be much greater than selling them to someone who is refusing payment.
It seems so easy to make money and when working with the right people and doing what God has asked us to do. I am wondering why I worked for people and per hour instead of going into business for myself.
In hindsight, Noel and I were obedient in our instructions that the Lord gave us that brought us to this point and for the first time my mind is alive and awake and I am doing things I enjoy with no strife and struggle. Life is good and so is God when we pray and obey.
We were also invited to a Japanese house by a lady in the church named Tomoko She wanted us to teach her to hear God and Noel, Neylor and I had a great time eating ringcon (type of potato)with crab deep-fried. Noel's favorite. And when we started teaching them they ended up already hearing God and just needed some encouragement.
With all these business deals I am asking people to pray we meet the right partners and investors since we are growing so fast eventually we won't need capital but will be able to invest our own and when we meet the people who need to be here we teach them about what God said about gospel entrepreneurs and establish ourselves to help those coming.
We are looking at a 4 story building that has been on the market for over 7 years and we are the first to look at it since it was listed. We are needing to expand our office and also looking for a place to stay. ItIs a nice place with an apartment on the 4th floor and plenty of potential. So many opportunities are presenting themselves and we are in wonder at all that God has for us and everything He is doing through us.
In the midst of all this excitement, we are keeping our hearts on the Father and loving people, praying for people on the train. People are so lonely here and are looking for love and friendship. Some are so broke they think about doing prostitution to pay their bills. We are loving them and sharing the gospel and all they can do is cry and want to hear more as we spend time with them.
Another interesting thing is a few people God is highlighting that I am reaching out to do business with and I am encouraging them to do their call in the business arena.
We also had a Taco Thursday here at Naylor's place and invited the neighbors and they so enjoyed the meal. They kept calling me Sensei (teacher) Paul as I showed them how to make and eat Tacos. It was a blast. Noel ended up praying for one lady and one guy with his wife Miki we so delighted to have friends who reached out. We kept hearing we don't do these kinds of things in Japan. So I guess it's good that we are here shaking things up and helping love people and meet their needs.
Noel and I had a Sunday fellowship with our Japanese Family in Yachimata Chiba. Everyone went around and prophesied to the person on their right and it was so fun and accurate and it so encouraged everyone. Then we ate a meal and just hung out.
Noel will most likely add more in the next post but these are a few details from our adventures in Japan.
I also started my own Amazon Sellers account Cameron Commodities and plan on selling things on there as opportunities present themselves.
I added some photos that I call baseball cards or Pokemon cards and I got to catch them all :P they are too funny.
